With a flair for all that is creative, Melissa F. Kaelin is a journalist, creative writer and communications specialist living in the Twin Cities.

Much of her blog is centered around her grief, after she lost her mother, stepfather, and her 13-year-old twin brothers in a car accident in 2011. Her father is also deceased.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Miami University. She has a background in newspaper reporting, editing and design. Her work consists of freelance writing, writing nonfiction articles for colleges and social media management for nonprofits. She is currently writing her second novel.
